fuck that shit you where an immergrant you sick bastard where the fuck did you think canadians came from?? eruope!! fuck i bet somewhere in his sick ass blood theres a piece of jewish. thats sick man i can't believe i just read that
An immigrant becomes a Canadian when they obtain their citizenship. People who are born here are Canadians.
That in no way excuses them for making ridiculous, racist statements. Being a Canadian means that you accept immigrants.
This is were i get confused on the topic of canadian. I was and still am , under the impression that a canadian is someone who is born here in canada. a birth right if you will. canadians , i would think is more than one canadian
An immigrant becomes a Canadian when they obtain their citizenship.
a immigrant is a landed immigrant when they recive thier citizenship. a canadain citizen nothing more, stampped peice of paper.in it's basic form. alows someone to live and work in this country , to enjoy the fruits of living in this country ,leagly. bought and paid for by canadian people. as i feel that it takes many, many years of paying into the canadian tax system to balance the books on a birth in a hospitial, send a child to school or heck a single person one year on welfare. all these social sysetms that are under great pressure these days.
That in no way excuses them for making ridiculous, racist statements.
i do agree somewhat with the that statement, however in the intial statement ; i do not belive the fellow was seeking any excuse at all a lot of the posts that followed were in my oppion were ridiculous. bordering on terrist style threats , and if not ,hate crime matterial. (some should be reread).
made me feel sympaty for the man who wrote the post , because i can see he achived his desired aim, to piss u all off, or most of you folk anyway.
Being a Canadian means that you accept immigrants.
This statement , well heck what is this to mean. A canadian is a birth right, not a peice of paper from some fedral goverment office. Proof only by a canadian birth certific , issued by the province that one is born in. That being cleared up. so, ... in a imperfect world , there is this canadian that dose not accept any immigrant,(for what ever reason)it makes him not a canadian ?. Who passed this law? How can a birth right be taken away . i am sure lilly white liberial thinkers will come up with a away. next i will be told that if one dose not vote.......... they are not a canadian .
you know Rev,( and all who think like you ), if you were correct, i would agree with you .
If you look at some Irish your going to see some scandinavian features.
they are both pretty white to my eyes, the irish and scandinavian, so in a way you have answered your own statement.
We all know what happens when we "stick to our own kind", right? Interbreeding. This is never an acceptable thing unless your breeding for a dog with certain features and don't care that it's stupid and has health problems.
your knowledge of breeding any sort of animale is so lacking , it is pathic. For dogs that is the most dumb ass statement i have heard in a long time.
for sticking with our own kind ... well you get the queen of england, old money that runs the world, any and all royality in the whole wide world. Blue blood is the term i think is used . to myself that is rather acceptable , i am sure you do not have the problem with the above
so what is the atvantage of beening a casnadain, it is a BIRTH RIGHT , othing more. Your bud there is a immigrant, nothing more, he is not a canadain. From your statement , being a canadain has no pride in it at all, of all the horse feathers to read. I now knida understand the frustration that would make one write the opening comment .
I know more on this topic than u will ever know my friend. It is you who should take your blinders off and see the words you write. It is no wonder this country is close to a third world in status. Are you a born canadain, or one with a goverment stamped paper, as it seems u have no pride in beening a canadian. Should i move to pakistan , dose that make me a pakistania ?, no u dumb ass i am still a canadian. but i doubt u get that point. Do u pre read what u write. Heck man get into politics, cause u make as much sense as paul martian , 5here is a good site here called histroy, try reading it . , or even ask your member of parliment on the topic, they will state as much as i have done, but i doubt that would sink in as well.
or do u like to see your ideas in print, as many do on message boards. U r probly oneof the ones who threatened the orginal writer with coming to see them .and puch him out
yep u are a shining example of what a canadain is, libberial lilly white, , if u r in school , man go to the real world, heck i even be so nice as to get u a job that pays 28 dollars a hour, and u can work for a un nation company . love to work beside u bud. industrial accident may happen though , lol just kidding. but man wake up, u reaLLY BELIVE WHAT U WRITE, I DO .
like i said rev, IF YOU WERE CORRECT REV, I WOULD AGREE WITH YOU . TRY POLITICS REV, BUT I NEVER VOTE FOR YA .
but io best stopp before u call me a racist or something.
but if u want my aDDRESS, MESSAGE ME BUD
Actually you appear to know little of what it means to be a Canadian and woefully misunderstand immigration and citizenship issues.
Those of us born in Canada are automatically Canadian citizens. Call that a birth-right if you want. Those who have come here from other places and obtained Canadian citizenship are also Canadian citizens.
I'm not in school, bulldawg, nor have I been for a very long time. I live in a very real world where people go to work every day and produce whatever it is they produce. I've been in that world full-time since 1982 and part-time for several years before that.
I was born in Canada...a little town in Saskatchewan. My parents were born in Canada. My grandparents on my father's side came here as children. My
grandfather died a Canadian. My mother's side of the family has been here longer.
As for my friend and co-worker...there is no doubt that he's Canadian. His attitudes are Canadian, he lives and works in Canada, he contributes to Canadian society, culture and the economy. He celebrates Canada Day. He watches hockey. He drinks beer. What the hell more do want?
I'm not interested in your address, but I am wondering how and where one develops attitudes such as yours. You can post that in the biography thread if you want, or, if it's some sort of secret you can PM me with it. I don't divulge the contents of PMs without asking permission first, so your secret would be safe.
Bulldawg... Why don't you feel that immigrants that choose to become Canadian citizens have payed their dues. The immigration process is not cheap in any country. Beyond the actual fees that governments charge, there are often lawyers fees, doctors fees ( Canadian doctors do charge for filing the immigration paperwork.)
While immigrants are awaiting an approval, they need to survive. This means monies from another country is being invested in Canada. All throughout the immigration process they are helping to support the Canadian economy. They pay taxes, they invest, they open businesses, all things that add to the strength of the Canadian economy.
A birth certificate afterall is a piece of paper issued by the government...as is the citizenship document. While they may not have been born in Canada, you must remember they chose to become Canadians. Of all the countries in the world they chose Canada. It wasn't an act of fate, it was a conscious decision.
