Reminds me of some Alliance members I've met over the years.
I know a few people who would quibble about this country being founded by whites too...people with names like Nicotine, Pelltier, Lagimodiere, Greenleaf, Stonechild. Kind of hard to call them immigrants when they were here for thousands of years before us.

I am almost physically sick from reading that quote. This man almost makes me ashamed to be Canadian by the way he threw the name of our country around. That and the emphasis on the Great "White" North, that is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. Canada is a great country and all Canadians no matter what their background is have a right to be accepted amongst their countrymen/countrywomen. The differentation between white and non-white is artificial we are 99.9% the same after all.

I take it you missed out on the whole peace/love generation too, blubs?
I don't mean to paint every Alliance member as some sort of racist miscreant...I'm sure thee are perfectly normal people who have signed up. I grew up in Saskatchewan when they were forming though...actively recruiting new members for this new movement. I haven't seen a substantial change in the leadership since then. The low level racists who were trying to recruit us are now wearing suits and being politically correct. I saw them in jeans telling us white kids how the immigrants and the Indians had it so good though. I have some scars on my knuckles from that night too.
Remember the old Western Report magazine? I can't remember the date, sometime in late '82 or early '83, there's a little blurb about left-wing extremists disrupting a meeting in Regina. That was me and my buds. We didn't "disrupt" we started a brawl. Three university students and me. We If somebody hadn't invented chairs they likely would have killed us.

Well rev I didn't miss out out on the peace love thing. Like you I was raised in a small town in north central AB. And I guess our parents instilled a healthy dose of morals on us or something. To me it has always seemrd rather pointlessw to blame people for something because of their race religion or creed. There are bad apples nomatter what color you are.
This asshole tho takes the cake. Rev you would get along great with my buddy from back home. Seems to me he and you are on the same wavelength
The thing to do with that guy is set him in the middle of a bunch of (I don't believe in political correctness) negroes,jews, indians, etc and have them set him straight.
I have seen it done on Maury Povich yes sometimes I watch him. Anyways a black guy and a member of the KKK spent a week together and this guy is no longer a member of the kkk. he still has some reservations about blacks but is not a racist .
