^That is true. I think there is only 3 of them between Milwaukee and Minneapolis. However there weren't any from Vancouver to Winnipeg  And no 24 gas/service from Edmonton to Winnipeg. I am probably just spoiled though over here ;)

Yeah but for us Canadians, Vancouver to Winnipeg is just a Sunday drive

What do you mean, no rest stops? There is a McDonalds or BK or something every 400 meters!

Maybe it is because Canadians (at least the ones I know and am related to) are laid-back, easy-going, welcoming, happy people that get along with everyone and have a strong relationship with their family. People tend to hate the things they don't understand ;)

Yeah I always got the same impression as well. When ever I go somewhere for the first time, it doesn't matter what I am doing or where I am but I will always run into a few nice people and have a quick conversation with them. And that's how I generally get a feel for a place.

I guess the only thing I hate about Canada is the lack of rest areas on highways

thats what we keep the empty beer bottles for.

Nah, for long drives pop bottles work better. Diclaimer: I don't chuck em out the window.

Is it illegal to just piss off the side of the road if you are in the middle of nowhere? I had to. We left Edmonton around 6pm and we drove straight to Winnipeg. Right near the border of Saskatchewan and Manitoba I had to go bad. I tried pulling off at 2 different gas stations, nothing was open, and the GPS said there would be nothing for the next 2 hours or so. So I just pulled off on a side road and went next to the van in the field.

I actually did this while I was taking this picture. A bit after 3am.

Technically yes, but if your in the middle of nowhere and no one is there... Piss away brotha. Worse case scenario you'll get a ticket for public urination.

HA! HA! HA!... They hate Canada so much they elected a President to turn the USA into a Canadian Province.

Socialized Health Care, Government Motors...

shear jealousy...

This is Hilarious!!!

I'm an American and don't hate Canada AT ALL. However, there is something I do hate inside of Canada, and that is that Quebec people will not quit their French speaking and insist on a divided culture. You cannot have a country within a country. If I were Canadian, I would absolutely let Quebec secede. In the USA, we have the non-assimilating spanish speaking invasion, and it will destroy this country fast.

You take care of your problem and we'll take care of ours.

I just spent 12 days touring Montana everybody we met was friendly and helpful, even all the Larry the cable guy look alikes if you yell "Hey Cooter" in a bar five guys will turn around. All the people we talked to from all over the USA had no problem with us Canadians we ended up having a few beers and shooting the shit several times in th Rv park we stayed at.

Most American tourists I have met have commented on how clean Canada is and how a Canadian would keep the trash in the car until they could find a trash can to put it in.. unlike their fellow Americans who throw garbage all over the place even if there was a trash barrel the size of a water reservoir. Americans are also the biggest whiners and complainers with an heir of entitlement ( so they think). And most countries they they are a major pain in the ass.

Funny, I find Canadians now to be as bad as the Yanks with regards to garbage. As for the Americans being the biggest whiners and complainers with an heir of entitlement. I'll leave you with one word, Quebec.

I don't go to the states anymore because they took exception to me ridiculing George Bush on the Internet. I wonder if Italy would let me in?

Maybe you could clarify - By taking exception did they deny you entry on that basis or what?
