I don't know about an absolute morality. But just being evolved as social animals has ensured that the vast, vast majority of us are born and then raised in atmospheres that emphasize the difference between right and wrong. It's only the sociopathy/psychopathy of certain dangerous individuals, and unfortunately of too many of our governmental and religious institutions, that are able to make us turn black into white and up into down.
Throw in an incessant level of propaganda, usually reverberating through society from the top on down, and it's easier to understand how things ranging from the justification of slavery, to the endless oppression of women, to the insane anti-historical idiocy of the Nazis concept of 'Positive Christianity' become widely accepted among people who one would normally assume to be logical and decent enough to reject them on sight.

Hmm. See, I do assert that an absolute morality exists. It's just that it's up to us fallible people to figure out how it applies, is all.
For instance, unless you're an Afghan male, we can pretty much agree that assaulting little boys is never defensible.
Slaughtering kids on a schoolyard with an Ak-47 is another thing we can all agree on.
It goes from there.
The people I have serious issues with are the situational ethicists coming out of the schools these days who are unable to call racially motivated genocide absolutely wrong. It seems that any kind of heinous crime can be excused if it's for the greater good.

I recall seeing part of the movie and finding it an effective sleep aid, thus the whole only seeing a part of it thing.
