BIG BLUE WAVE PRO-LIFE BLOGBURST
I decided to organize a pro-life blogburst in conjunction with LifeChain Sunday. Please visit the blogs on this link and give them some traffic.

Sorry you're outta luck with me.
It's a womans choice , first , last and always. And the meanderings of any number of chhurches dont change that fact

Excellent point HTE it is the woman's choice first, last but not always. The father should have some input on the subject. Unless of course it dervied from an unwanted act.
I'm pro-choice, but parents should be able to abort their children whenever they want, as long as they're living under their roof or until they turn 18.
Lyonhart,
Sorry, but what exactly does "input from the father" entail? As far as the law should be concerned, the father has already given his "input" or there wouldn't be a fetus on which to argue.
It's a woman's choice, period.
Epiphany,
Thanks for coming out! For every piece of traffic you get supporting anti-abortion agendas, I'll get double to allow impulse abortions on PC Points.

That is the exact reason as to why the parents "it takes two to make one" should have the final say as to what takes place.
Fatbasturd,
What are you proposing? That the father can object to and veto an abortion?
An abortion is between a woman and her doctor, if a male partner wants to show support great. When men have the ability to get pregnant and carry a child then and only then will it be his sole decision to carry or abort.
So the guy is free from responsibility? Good to know.
I was just thinking that. If the woman chooses to keep the kid, then the father MUST support him/her by law. If the woman chooses to abort it, then he doesnt.....but that is a complete contradiction. If the man must support the child, then he must be able to have input into what happens to the child post birth.
How is it even remotely (excuse the word but...) fair that the father has no say in his childs living or dying? If he is required to support that baby by law then he must then be allowed to have say in what happens to it.
(I dont like using the word "it" in this context cause it kinda sounds like you take the human factor out of it, but I dunno what else to use.)

Well, let me pose a question in return.
When was the last time you heard of a guy dying in childbirth?

Guys say stupid things at the worst time... sounds like the beginning of a good joke.

Are you trying to imply that every birth has a risk of death therefore no woman should give birth or...?

That no woman should give birth involuntarily, yes.
She's the one who will have her body put through months of stress, which is likely to have consequences (e.g, osteoporosis) for the rest of her life. She is the one who could die during pregnancy, or in childbirth. And, knowing the way most guys look at things, he'd probably even be expecting her to raise the kid after it was born -- that's kind of implied in your statement about financial responsibility. Would 18 years as a single father make him think twice?
The key point, from my perspective, is that it's her body and she shouldn't have to give birth just because some guy who invested 5 minutes in the process likes the idea. "Who is going to take care of the kid for 18 years?" is just good for bonus points.

I understand what your saying. Its just one of those situations that has consequences that affect not only the mother but the father as well. I dont think anytime soon will a court or really COULD a court tell a woman that she cannot abort her kid becuase ther father doesnt want her too. So really the point is moot.
Its just one of those things in life that the white man has no control over
