The only reason why this is a story is because it picks on those evil right wing Christians again. Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists and a crap load of other religions also reject evolution but their not mentioned here.
Are they trying to get the law changed regarding the teaching of evolution in classrooms? ridenrain ridenrain:
Considering the teachers in BC are more devoted to their union than they are their students , I have very little confidance in teachers.

Perhaps you should relate some of the ways teachers have had a negative impact on your life.

Teachers are required to teach the curriculum of the Province they teach in. If a teacher does not like a topic on the curriculum, they have to teach it anyway. In Saskatchewan most classes that involve human sexuality have an "pass on sensitive issues" clause. This does not, however, apply to the topic of evolution in Biology 30.

The teachers have to follow certain guidelines. Choices or not, kids need that exposure.
Sometimes parents breed far too much of their own ignorance and hatred in their children. Children need the exposure sometimes to dissipate that.

You are making the false assumption that teachers are full of wisdom and parents are full of ignorance. Do you not understand that teachers and parents are sometimes one and the same?
My daughter is 6 years old and I was told by her teacher that it was my responsibility to teach her how to read. All she does at school is play. Its become a glorified daycare system.
Secondly, my cousin who is 16 has been passed along his whole life. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that he reads at a grade 3 level. (This is not an isolated case in Toronto)None of his teachers have ever taken responsibility to help him. They just keep passing him in the hopes that next years teacher will pick up the ball.
So much for "teaching".

I've never heard of these teachers that promote homosexuality. I know of many teachers who are Christian and Conservative.

I am saying that loving the sinner, and hating the sin, is way superior to the politically correct way that society legalizes the sin, yet continues to hate the sinner.

Perhaps you should relate some of the ways teachers have had a negative impact on your life.I would have thought that the easy solution to this would have been to kill the human rights comissions and let the actual justice system do it's job but I guess these star chambers are fine as long as it's being used by the "right" side.

the problem of course is the bible slectively promotes sin as a good thing, even if you did take the rag seriously

Tell you what when this jesus person comes down in person and inscribes "gays are bad dude" on Mount Everest so tha the whole world can see then we can take the religion thing seriously. Until then you might as well be a flat earther
