Something the true right and left are united on Fighter, is McCain's an idiot, and here's a helpful hint.
You're not going to get a lot of sympathy telling people in the west how wonderful it would be if they had more mosques and minarets in their neighborhood.
Feel free to poll on that if you like.

This word "Terrorism" has been abused quite badly in such a way that it has lost its real meaning...I don't take this word serious at all...

Nope. Once again it's the Muslims at fault here.
Our very first war as an independent nation was against the Muslims who illegally occupied and still illegally occupy North Africa and who thought they had a right from Allah to terrorize, enslave, murder, and extort Americans.

In the course of the Barbary Wars the United States Navy and Marines beat the absolute fuck out of the Barbary states until they sued for peace and promised never to attack American ships ever again.
So we've been at war with Islam since 1784 because Islam thought they had a right to fuck with us.

It's about the United States Marines. The way I heard it they were first formed to fight the Barbary Slaver Pirates. The Marines got their nickname of "leathernecks" from a need to protect themselves from the Islamic fondness for beheading attempts during battle.
There's a line from the Marine's anthem that goes "to the shores of Tripoli" and I think that refers back to the Barbary wars.

But surely Fighter is not wanting to put America's war history against the followers of the Warlord Mohammed wars of conquest and hope to virtue signal about the 'religion of peace.'
Because that would be to laugh. 
He wants to begin from 1776, does he? Very well, the Mohammedan history of rape, scourge, plunder, slavery, conquest and push towards the West begins after the violent takeover of the Arabian peninsula by Mohammed himself in the 7th century, then he dies and his follower Abu Bakr heads west raiding and conquering wherever he finds weakness.
Shall we match details on how ugly and bloody America's wars were against the centuries of jihad as Islam increased in strength and pushed steadily outward? We could even talk about the Mohammedan push east if he likes where there are tales of mountains of South Asian skulls and rivers of blood.
It's up to Fighter if he wants to get into it.
