Interesting that Bart claims to be such an expert on Islam, to have read the Koran in its original form, yet had to C&P his response from some other website, full of the errors you've done well in addressing. One would think that someone who proclaimed to be so well versed in the text would have picked up on at least one or two of these issues...
...that is, if he weren't full of shit and didn't have such an obvious agenda.

No kidding. I think it's especially galling to offer a highly inflammatory translation via C&P and then dodge when challenged to provide one himself by claiming that the Koran can't be translated at all, but rather has to be "felt."

I'm saying nothing, asserting nothing. You're the one making the assertions; the assertion that those you're challenging me to produce don't exist.
Besides, I don't speak or read Arabic. As such, I am incapable of even understanding any passages (you just said that any translation is inadequate), so how am I to answer your charge?
If you agree with me then fine. If you disagree with me then present your evidence to support your argument instead of just saying that I'm wrong when you have nothing to support your point of view or disprove mine.

I'm simply saying that it's quite plain by now that you consider the "moderate muslim" to be a fictional entity, and that all "true muslims" are either killers or supporters of killers, barbarians or supporters of barbarians.

Yeah well, I've "read" the Bible in Hebrew, the Tripitaka in Sanskrit, and the De temporum ratione in Latin.... la dee da, look at me.
I think the extent of your understanding of whatever it is you think you've read is well understood now.
