He's an advocate for a cause, you don't get very far in that capacity by staying at home. To his credit, where possible, he does try to appear using video conferencing these days. I don't understand the shear malice directed towards Suzuki online, he's been articulating our understanding of the world around us in fairly simple terms for decades.
It's just sad that because some don't like his message, they need to resort to trying to tear him down personally like this.

I confess, gunny, that the virulence of your attacks at times surprises me. Unlike the doggy you do not seem to be mentally unstable except in this. I have, though, never met anything so impudent and impertinent before and I do not recall the equal anywhere outside a libel trial. I told Suzuki to his face he is a hippocrite. However, that doesn't take away the fact that many of his points are totally valid, and without him, many of them wouldn't make it into the public discussion.
