It's not really about age. I think some of them have just pickled their brains through years of heavy drinking, leaving them a bitter shell of a human. Sort of the opposite of the saying 'wise beyond their years'.

But to what you suspect. There are surveys in the US, particularly, showing the preponderance of the Right in denying climate change. Among scientists, there are only a handful on the who do deny and they identify as Republicans.

In Canada it is only the CPC that denies and there are only a few scientists who do. They identify themselves as Conservative.

   

Sounds like you're tired of it now. Maybe the sports trivia and entertainment gossip weren't so bad.

Obviously, you are still staggering about tossing out bromidic offerings and platitudinous missives and always with an eye to play the forum Athos as you pontificate to the young in that soporific and wearisome affectation. I get it that see the mob here as a last opportunity to admonish the unclean and offer the bounty of your chosen belief, and I suspect many would willingly come if the flowery prose you can employ when moved didn't assume the bitterness of your vinegary personality as it continues to pickle in the brine of your many failures.

Anyhoo, you may yet get it as you continue to wander dumbly spouting your choleric interjections like some street corner Baptist, but I kind of doubt it. You will, I can assure you, generally remain a figure of fun though.

The Conservative party does not deny climate change. They are just not as eager to simply throw a carbon tax on something that probably won't do much good anyway. Even the BC Liberals are rethinking their carbon tax.
