I can't discuss this topic, because I am not a native!!!!!

No, you can't tell me what it's like to live as a gay man where I do based on your experiences as a straight woman in Holland.

I would never tell you what it's like to live there or to be a straight woman. I'm not that stupid.

You really believe I am, don't ya?

There are a lot of gay men on this forum, who don't have the same issues as you do. I think you are generalizing. Of course there are people who don't like, don't understand, or even oppose to the "gay life style" (if there is any), and are afraid of it. But that would not be the majority. Not here in Europe, nor in North America. There would not be so many gay pride parades if there were.

You know the way it works, right? If you are bullied, hit back. Don't be victimized. You're worth more than being a victim.

I couldn't care less if you are gay or not, that was not the topic either (but, with Tricks and Nova around, you never know where the topic ends up ;-)).

Seriously though, walking down the street in Toronto I see it all the time, and never heard any negative comments.

So? You think it doesn't exist based on the brief moments you share a sidewalk with these people?

Regardless, that's in a big city where people are more open-minded.

Hey! This has stayed on topic pretty well!

Are you kidding me? It happens all the time. That's why I don't do it anymore. I have never once seen or heard of that in recent years. It's definitely not a common occurrence, especially in Canada.

How many times have you walked down the street hand-in-hand with your male friends or kissed them in public or at a straight night club? Never? Oh surprise.

Dan holding hands and kissing his friend. Oh crap, just no 8O Don't do this to me dude. Nightmares tonight I don't need.

Where the hell do you live North of NOWHERE? I have gay friends both male and female and they never talk this shit. I think you need to seriously look at your comfort zone with being gay. If you were actually comfortable with being gay you wouldn't give a rat's ass what any one thought of it.

I hardly ever talk about this either.

But tell them that you don't agree with gay pride parades and that gays are never discriminated against and see what they say.

Although I am not sure who he is talking to at the moment... [huh]

Simple. The person I quote is the person I'm talking to.

So I got Tricks mixed up with a woman. My point was still exactly the same.

You quoted Tricks, and then said he was a woman from Holland. I know 2 women from Holland on this forum. 1 of them is not around, which leaves me. I am sorry I got confused here...

Sweety, my lesbian neighbours don't agree with the gay pride parade. What is your point? Every gay is the same?

I'm somewhat agree with you.

I can't walk down the street in my Leafs Jersey without being laughed at... I'm sure a gay couple gets atleast a few odd stares and possibly some redneck fucktard rolling down the street in a pickup truck yelling "Fuck You Fag!" every so often...

But hey, that's society. It'll change eventually.

Do you hang around a lot of boys that kiss and hold hands in the hallways? If you do, your school is a rarity.

Being gay get's the same abuse as wearing a sports jersey in right wing Canada. Oh yeah, lots of discrimination there then.

So you do have a problem with that kind of behaviour?

I didn't hang around with them, but there were alot of homosexuals. Wasn't a big deal. Hell we had a homosexual club at my highschool. A couple people kinda went "What?" Then forgot about it  Oh and why is it always guys you are mentioning?

Fuck I just pulled a Lily.

I do and a lot of them even agree with me. They don't see themselves as SPECIAL cause they are gay.
