I sometime watch a channel on Youtube called "Audit the Audit". It is full of those ^^ kind of encounters, and goes through what the participants do right, what they do wrong, and what the law actually says. It's not always the cops fault, but it usually is.

Video shows train hitting Platteville patrol vehicle with arrested woman inside

$1:
Video obtained by Denver7 Friday morning shows the arrest of a woman on Sept. 16 who was then put into a Platteville Police Department cruiser that was hit by a train a short time later.

The Fort Lupton Police Department released an edited eight-minute video of several officers’ and deputies’ body cameras who responded to the initial call and after the woman was hit by a train while handcuffed inside the police cruiser.

On the evening of Sept. 16, a Platteville officer located a suspect vehicle on US Highway 85 and County Road 36. Police said the pickup truck and driver were reportedly involved in a road rage incident involving a firearm in Fort Lupton earlier that night.

The video starts with two Platteville police officers following Yareni Rios-Gonzalez, 20, of Greeley, with their lights on, then turning off of U.S. Highway 85 onto Weld County Road 36.

$1:
Rios-Gonzalez was transported to a Greeley hospital with serious injuries, but authorities said Monday that she was expected to survive.

According to Paul Wilkinson, her personal injury attorney, Rios-Gonzalez had surgery on a broken arm, suffered nine broken ribs, a fractured sternum, broken teeth, and injuries to her leg, back and head.

Wilkinson said she tried to escape from the vehicle, but it was locked. She also saw the train from a good distance off, he said, and was yelling at the officers and trying to get their attention before the train hit the car.

“The most alarming thing for me is that you can hear the train coming – and it’s at nighttime, and the train has lights also,” Wilkinson said. So, you can both hear and see the train coming.”

Teen Girl at Center of Fontana Amber Alert Killed in Shootout With Police After Pursuit

$1:
The murder-and-kidnapping suspect in Monday's Amber Alert and a teen girl with him in a pickup are dead after a police pursuit ended with shots fired and a shutdown of the 15 Freeway in Victorville.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said they believe the passenger was the 15-year-old girl and she was wearing tactical gear. When she tried to get out of the car during the shootout, she was struck by gunfire and later died at a hospital.

Sheriff's deputies say official identification of the deceased girl will come from the county coroner later.

The chaos began Tuesday when someone called 911 and reported seeing the suspect and 15-year-old girl at the center of an Amber Alert in a white truck in the area of Barstow.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said the truck matched the description of the 2017 Nissan the suspect was last seen driving.

The California Highway Patrol began chasing the vehicle around 11:15 a.m.

When deputies responded to that call, the man -- 45-year-old Anthony John Graziano -- shot at deputies out the rearview window.

Officials later said he was shooting "constantly."

The vehicle "became disabled" in Hesperia. No details about why the vehicle stopped working were immediately shared.

A "fire fight" ensued between Graziano and deputies, officials said. Police shot at the truck, and struck Graziano.

During the shootout, Savannah Graziano, wearing tactical gear, got out of the truck and ran toward deputies. She was struck in the fire fight.

It's not clear if she was she running to them to get away from her father for protection or running toward them in a threatening way. Why would she be wearing tactical gear?

This story is not about the police, its about parole officers. Parole officers have way more power than police do. They never need a warrant to search a home. They can show up any time that they want. They can show up to a parolee's place of employment any time they wish as well. Sometimes the parole officer will come to the place of employment so often that it interferes with the work getting done. The parolee gets fired as a result. Maintaining constant employment is usually a condition of parole. The parolee gets violated for breaking conditions of parole, and gets sent back to prison. Next time that he gets out, he will be a little quicker with his cash kickbacks to the parole officer's brother in law for giving him the shitty job.
