No they are not Iraqis, they are a seperate people.
Read my post I never said they were Iraqi's. They where Kurdish people with Iraqi passports which makes them Iraqi citizens.
Read your own post. You never said anything about passports. How would you know they have passports, do you know a Kurdish person with a Iraqi passport? Post the proof as you say.

The Kurds, ever since the formation of Iraq, have been fighting to have their own country. The whole region that spans from Northern Iraq/Armenia all the way to Northern Iran is what they call Kurdistan. They want to leave Iraq and become the Republic of Kurdistan. The reason Saddam killed his own people is because the minority Sunnis had control. The Shi'ite majority were mad at this. The Kurds wanted their own nation. And the Shias wanted the ability to practice their slightly different beliefs in peace. With so many different ethni groupsto try to pacify. Saddam ruled with an Iron fist. If you read some HISTORY you'd see that past Empires who held control of the land had failed to control these groups. Shall I name them? The Empire of Alexander the Great, The Persian Empire, ancient Mesopotamia, the Assyrian Kings, Turkey and Britain. America will be the next one to fail.
Yeah, do you see a bunch of Americans running over there to colonize it? It's called removing the dictator and letting the countries be ruled by democracies now.

I never said that Americans would colonize the Middle-East, that would be suicide. All I said was that America is doomed to repeat what history has taught us. You won't be able to make peace in Iraq and establish a democracy. The one right now is doomed to failure.

Actually, they did not colonize them. Alexander the Great respected their cultures but did try to promote Greek Influence in his empire. The Persians under Cyrus the Great respected the cultures aswell but said that they must pay them gifts for special events.
