I'm not the only one guilty of sucking up...infact, I usually dont, but seeing as it works for SS, I decided to try it.

However, SS is the one that has been making personal attacks against me... personally, I havent done soo much to him. Read all the posts and hes the one with the profanity... I just speak the truth, and he cant accept it and lashes out. If he makes a direct attack on me, I make one back, but Im always the one that seems to get the shit for it. Perhaps there is a bit of favoritism there. (just a remark, not meant to be an attack)

WHAAA just like a couple of kids, he hit me so i have to hit him back... Grow up, you claim to be so smart and educated, then show it...

I was quite excited to find these forums, and even more excited by the topic. That was, until I got to about page four and the flaming started.

Still, I think the topic is worth commenting on, so here I go.

First, just so you know where I am coming from, I was born and raised in the States, but may soon have my citizenship card via delayed registration of birth. I am against almost all of Bush's policies I have seen. I also tend to be pretty liberal in my views. I hate the narrow mindset that attempts to simplify everything into right and wrong, good and evil. Few things are able to be simplified in such a way. That being said, I expect many of my posts will end up doing just that. I assume I can count all of you to remind me of such times. :wink:

I have been, and continue to be upset at the reports of Canadians and French being mistreated and abused because of their Governments political stances. My step-mom in Ottawa told me about a group of high school students who were assaulted at a hockey game. Not just once but multiple times by different people. It was reported in the Citizen, but Â“strangely enoughÂ” did not make our own papers. The whole Â“Freedom FriesÂ” thing is so ludicrous, I cannot help but laugh. Why canÂ’t someone disagree with the US without catching flack for it? I guess the idea of a democracy only applies to certain Individuals and ideals.

IÂ’ve got so much more to say, but I think I will keep my first post short. Thanks to the webmaster(s) for creating the site and the forums. Discussion and dialog are/can be great promoters of understanding.
