Québec doesnt get more per capita, and the system is based on a per capita formula.

Sorry, I don't think so.

Only Quebec gets more than anybody else right? Saskatchewan has been fighting equalization promises made by Harper, only to get those payments directed to Quebec for a few votes. Real fair eh?

quebec rules canada...get over it

I was going to conjure up some sarcastic reply but reality hits the big one.

Thanks, you forgot to factor in the politics.

Thanks for the basic framework, unfortunately (for most Canadian provinces) that's not exactly how it works although it is supposed to. I think my website is more informative to reality. Nice try.

Ok so the official Canadian Government Website isnt good?

A Canadian government website and reality are two different things. You don't like the Canadian government and now you accept it as truth? Here's an eye rollie for you.

Nice Edit, now please tell... What politics? That's the official formula as it is right now, for 2006-2007. That's what the provinces will receive, until said otherwise. What you posted, is still speculation.

No, actually what I posted is reality, not speculation. How do you know it is speculation?

Keep speculating, or provide proof. Either way, you failed to proove that Québec gets the most per capita, from the Equalisation Program.

The Federal Governement hasnt annouced it's budget yet, until it does... It's speculation.

Edit: It's just a report, and until any governement acts on it, it's nothing.

Actually I did prove it, you just can't accept it. Not my fault.

Here. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2007/01/ ... lance.html

and the article above which you clearly ignored which is what I've been saying all along. Yet you're basing your argument on government websites and not local or provincal news. Interesting. You need to get out of your BQ hole.
