Until Amerinds drop the idea that they are seperate and sovereign nations within Canada things won't get better. Canada can't and won't allow the existence of third world enclaves and mentalities within its borders. The gov't is now pushing legislation, allowing the Auditor General's office to audit the financial books of the reservations. This is a good first step. It's about time that the Chiefs and their cronies had their spending habits open to scrutiny. This hopefully will lead to an improvement in the general lot of all living on the reservations, rather than a few corrupt individuals.

Is that right? Well here is a stupid question. For the Nazi part, how in hell were they going to screw "white ladies" From Canada. THEY WERE IN GERMANY FUCKTARD! But, lets use your logic for a second. The Nazis didn't fuck native ladies either moron. So I guess you are a bunch of rejects from.....where in hell did you come from? Ok, Skinheads. No one screws skinheads...They are assholes. Who in hell would screw a skinhead? Just another thought, since you love saying "white european rejects" What about the Black immigrants? Are they rejects too? How about Chinese? Japanese? African? Jamaican? Basically you're a racist little fuck. DerbyX DerbyX:
The trouble is you consider "society" to be "whities" and have no real understanding that the reality is native society would be identical to the tribal societies of the amazon if "whitie" hadn't come along.
That is not the point.
We agreed to be equals with our white brothers and keep our language, traditions and cultures.
We signed treaties as equals and instead of becoming partners, we became neglected and abused. Instead of accepting us and our ability to participate in society as First Nations we were "assimilated", abused and cheated out of our land.
We do not give up the right to be equals and keep our own way of life. I am not a Canadian because you tell me I am. I will not ever choose to give up my inherent rights as an aboriginal person in this land just because you think, "we should all be Canadians".
For example, the myth that your government has created a non-native fishery is totally untrue. The fact is that your governments can do absolutely nothing if those natives there choose to fish whatever and whenever they want.
You have no legal means to stop them as this is their right, you have not signed treaty with the west coast natives and therefore you have no grounds to tell them what and what not to do in their own territory.
You are lucky that the First Nations on the west coast have agreed to limit their fishing as a means to conserve the fish stock.
Who invented the tools we use to make a living in today's society is irrelevant. The land is ours regardless of your superiority complex.

BULLSHIT! You were given land. You were given money. You were helped. You have the same rights as everyone else. You are as equal as anyone else. ANY native can go out and get a job. Any Native American can do what they want. BUT if they choose to abuse the money given to them, then I think that we have every right to take it away.

The courts and legal system you speak of is entirely our invention as your people had adsolutely no concept of such things.
Actually, the American style of government was modeled after the Iroquois Confederacy, which is the oldest participatory democracy on the earth.
We had and still have many systems of law and justice that we have used for thousands of years to resolve disputes.
You are obviously very ignorant about First Nations history.

Tell me Jr,
How many Indians were on welfare, in jails and were drunks before your ancestors got here?
We are not inherently lazy people. If you look at history and the events that lead up to our situation today you may notice a pattern of exclusion, destruction and racism.
Like I said in my other post, why can’t our First Nations veterans who fought for Canada get what every other Canadian soldier got?
Power in this society does not come from getting jobs and paying bills. Power comes from the control of the land and resources and the ability to create economic opportunity and determine the destiny of a people.
Our futures do not lie in getting jobs working for ignorant white folks like you. Our future lies in determining our own destiny and First Nations.
I do not want to be a white Canadian. I am a First Nations person with my own distinct language, culture and home.
And no matter how much you complain we will never give away our rights promised to us through treaty that we can participate beside our white brothers as equals while maintaining our heritage.

Actually, the American style of government was modeled after that of the British
Common Law and I think what you mean is that the Iroquois Confederacy
MAY have had SOME influence on the American Constitution which is more likely a theory rather than actual fact by historian Jack Rakove.

Of course you can dismiss that as "white man's" history or theory at your discretion, it matters not. Your facts are challenged.

If you think that Canada truly owns all of the land, then why do you have to consult us when you want to explore in our territory? Why are your governments still signing modern day treaties with us? Why do you have a commission set up to resolve outstanding First Nation’s legal title to land?
I would seem to me by the way you talk that you could just take anything in Canada without doing any of that. But like I said, your ignorance my be your own reality, “Real” reality is a little different.
