All Harper's done is show that he's capable of doing politics as cynically as the Liberals. We took Emerson, while the Libs did it with Belindawhore, Brison, and K Martin. The Libs are hardly the one's to pontificate on the subject.
Are you really this small minded?
The Libs are not the ones who said....
Liar Liar:
“We don’t go out of our way to romance MPs to get them to cross the floor,” Harper said. “The Liberals will do anything to win. We are trying to create a principled party where people act in a principled way."
......and
bullshitter bullshitter:
“We’re fairly cautious about encouraging party jumping because I think that’s the kind of thing that generates cynicism and frankly when somebody jumps once you’re not sure to trust them that they won’t jump the next time."
“So I will always handle with an extraordinary degree of caution.”
Yeah so before he even becomes PM
he calls Emerson.
Oh but Belinda is the only one that is a whore because she felt uncomfrotable with the direction of the party. At least she came from a riding where she almost lost......how many votes did the Con get in Emersons riding again? Oh yeah he didn't even get his deposit back, if you don't know what that means look it up.
He should pay back any money he got from the lib party,I dont have a problem with that.
Keep crushing those sour grapes dude and you'll keep getting sour wine or is that "whine?"

Just a note,
considering the minority government and the numbers, a Liberal or BQ MP quitting his party to sit as an independent could hold the balance of power.
Check the numbers, it could work.
CON 125
LIB 102
BQ 51
NDP 29
IND 1
Who gives a shit but you whining libs that lost, lets move on and build the country instead of whining about who's in now.
I hope Steven eats some babies soon so you whiner's will have something to harp about.I predict in 6 months from now the board libs will still be whining about the loss but never actually be doing anything for the betterment of this country.
At least I wrote my MP with my thoughts,it may not be much but much more effective then coming on a forum and crying "See! I told ya! see!".
Try and be pro active Donny instead of anti con.

Kind of like we've been listening to the Reform/Alliance/Conservatives do for the last 13 years.

What's pathetic is you sore losers.
A Calgarian is your new Prime Minister Avro, get used to it or get back in the barrell and start stomping grapes.

More proof you are dumb, maybe time to get out of your motor home white trash.
Relaxing in my 3 bedroom house that's nestled in the mountains right next to a world class trout stream. Try again.

Okay, nice dream, time to wake up.

No dream dude,I bought my first house at the age of 17,nother ten years I'll sell this one for a half a mill and cruise to mexico in the motorhome to spend the rest of my years in luxury.
The way we're going, 'none of the above' would win a majority
IceOwl IceOwl:
I have yet to read the article, just give me a minute

Edit: Most of the article is just a repeat of yesterday's news. Other than that, I'd say the Conservatives don't stand a chance in April. This would be a good time to start putting "none of the above" on our ballots, because our politicians can't be trusted for even five minutes to do something they promised to do.
lily lily:
I don't see where I've admitted I'm a Liberal. I still maintain I'm a liberal.
A few Con supporters have said that Harper's decision was bad, but most are still defending it (making excuses for it, whatever) some even in the same breath.
I'm hearing a lot of, "Harper shouldn't have done it, but..."
Several Cons even try to deflect this back, claiming this was a coup for the right that makes the left look bad.
It's all in how it's spun.
Again, perhaps an oversight on your part.

"And were watching you libs once again....grasping at straws."
You said:
"I'd love to hear your explanation as to how
we're grasping at straws, when it's you guys on the defensive."
We....as in we Liberals.
Speaking of spin, I'm sure you'll try to spin you way outta that
