Do we want to get into the blinders that were put on Gomery?
He's as proven innocent as Brian Mulroney.

   

What is Brian charged with? I don't recall anyone condemning him for anything other then the deficit/debt that his gov't racked up. Was he and his gov't at fault when his MP was caught at the stripper club in Lahr?

PMBM is being held accountable for his policies that put us all into debt, not for the actions of a few affiliated members.

Well pluggy, you seem to have missed the point. You are berated the Liberals for not discarding MP's charged/accused of something like harper has done. I guess "innocent until proven guilty is escaping you". Thats actually the point. Harper tossed this guy very very quickly because he knew that person could have badly affected his chances of being elected. It can be taken 2 ways. smart political move or cold blooded disloyalty to supporters.

With Derek Zeisman, nothing. The point is I said "guilty until proven innocent" to you many months ago as to the guilt of PMPM before he was exonerated by gomery and you disagreed. Now you take the opposite position. You above almost everybody else hold 1 standard for Liberals and another for everybody else. You minimize the damage done by the PC gov't, ignore everything the Liberals did for Canada, and will probably credit Harper for the sun rising if he gets elected. If you can't see the hypocracy you propose then man you are blind.

I've always said that I felt that Judge Gomery had too many restrictions to investigate properly.
Without an unhindered investigation, you can not find the truth, nor justice.

Gomery found Martin innocent.
I personally do not agree.

Just the same you will not agree that Brian Mulroney was innocent.

This is why we need a special, impartial investigator.

   

Perhaps when those "rogue" members are found guilty. There is a big difference between being caught with 110+ bottles of booze at the border then a "leak" coming from you office. I am sure you can see the difference if we were talking about regular people and not political candidates.



In other words despite the opinion of the investigation you cons quote every few seconds you do not agree, Gomery absolutely slays the Liberals and because he doesn't find every single Liberal and their families guilty you disagree. If you disagree with his finding on PMPM then all his findings are equally suspect. Therefore you acknoledge that gomery may be a CPC plant slandering liberals without reason.

But you will say PMPM is guilty regardless eh?

Actually it started before that. For some reason, the western governments (possibly in shock after the switch from gold standard) thought it was OK to run a deficit with made up bank money. The US has run a deficit every year since the early 60's and so had we until 96. The libs changed this,

The states can run a deficit/debt far longer then we can because they are an affluent consumer economy amd we are an obligate importer economy. In other words our financial wellbeing is dependant upon a trade surplus and the US is not. Canada need a deficit free gov't.

   

Expecially for this political crap, we need an impartial investigation.

What do you thinks going to happen with Chretien's lawsuit? It's going to be a major goat rodeo and the longer you've been in power, the more ammunition will be available.
