It's obvious immigrants are coming to Canada to find a better life.However, many immigrants come to Canada, they do not want to assimilate into Canada's culture, they want to bring their own laws with them, they don't want to speak English or French, and because many immigrants are the elitist (financially well-off) they are not filling the job needs of our economy.
Many of these elitist immigrants are buying up Canadian real estate, driving up costs for the rest of us born here.
The elitist immigrants are buying businesses, and hiring the rest of his family, so they can immigrant here to, setting aside Canadians.
Do you think Canada should ban immigrantion, reform it, or leave it as is?

Yes I think we are getting to many Dutch in Canada what ever happened to the standard three in the order of English , French , and German , with mideasterners to run all the Macs stores .
Southern Alberta is filling up with Dutch

In my opinion the Netherlands should be a British county. You speak a language very closely related to ours (only Frisian is more closely related to English than Dutch is) and you aren't much bigger than Wales. We should send the Royal Marines, the SAS and the Gurkhas over the Channel to assimilate you.

I think it is. If you allow too many people in, it'll be harder to absorb them all into Canadian society. Then again, when you put barricades around each idividual culture, you are going to have these sorts of problems.

We need to put the myth that we are a multicultural country in the trash and start acting as Canadians. I have no issue with someone celebrating their culture in their home or community but it has no place in main stream society. If we are truly a democratic country the majority rule, not a minority. That is what being Multicultural Country means, minority rule. I say nooooooooooooo to this socialist idiology.

I think we have to tighten it or risking becoming a 3d world country. We should still allow immigrants but make the selection bar extremely high, so that only the best of the best get in. The rest of you go home, and stop invading our country with your languages and annoying cultures.

For skilled worker visa it is high, but not suit to what the country needs. What Canada needs is not another Uni-grad who knows a lot about 1 thing, but has to go back to school because his diploma's are worth shit here. What Canada needs is skills, people who are willing to get dirty, work with their hands, and not sit on a chair in an office all day.
What Canada should do, is stop the family class immigration category. All you need to get that visa is a family member who wants to be a guarantor for 10 years, and thats it.
