that i assume is the military of france as a joke?....... there is nothing cowardly or could be made a joke of the french military from Quebec..
they are one of the best in the world.. and I for one am proud to have family members serving ..... I support our troups ..... not the war

To summarize, Not everything should be taken so literally 
Not even close comparing the French (France) military to our soldiers.
Our Quebec soldiers are part of the Canadian military. Which in itself alone is completely different.
I have a tremendous support for our soldiers. Heck yea, ''Support Our Troops'' the Canadian ones.

funny, i dont recognize the difference between soldiers, either from Quebec or not.. they are all HEROES !!!

and for those of you who blame lack of knowing french to get a government job in canada... c'est la vie.. its the same for a french person. I am half french half english. my mother was quebecoise.. I speak read and write in both languages.. I do not qualify for work in a government job or hospital because I fall short in the testing.... do I whine about that..no I dont cut it and if I wanted to I would increase knowledge in both official languages.....and to the person who said there were there were 25% french and so that makes 75% anglos... you need to do your home work.. Canada is multicultural therefore there are a large percentage of the population whose mother tongue is neither french or english... but the reality is the country is officially bilingual.. that meaning french and english.... geeze

Good thing that will never happen.
Anyways, it doesn't matter whose mother tongue (great stats category by statscan) as the only thing that matters is that they either speak ENGLISH OR FRENCH...be they immigrants or citizens. How they got to this country if they cannot speak either, phone immigration and customs, there is a problem. They can speak whatever they want at home but like somebody said, there are two official languages in this country and that should be all that matters. Multicultural my ass, otherwise we'd have 10 million languages that have official status in this country.
