How could it be anymore secular? Would you ban any decorations in government offices and civil servants from wishing each other Merry Christmas or happy Holidays. Shit, I'm living in a mostly Buddhist nation and city hall puts up a huge Christmas tree here in Kaohsiung. Christmas is getting bigger every year.

I would bet anything that no one did.
Look, I am not against immigration, but it comes to a point where if immigrants come to Canada, they should learn to adapt, intergrate to the local values.
They should not try to change them.
Plus, I am gonna put Brenda on the spot here. She keeps calling me a chicken. Oh! Oh! plus she doesn't like TH coffee. That's against our values and traditions, maybe she should just leave

Yep! Chinese import Canadian trees by the container load.
BTW! Heard a rumble (unconfirmed) today that a container load of Canadian Cristmas Trees, when opened in China was infested with Yellow jackets. China has a new critter........
