Well its really not that bad. Why would you even bring it up, looking for a fight are we. Well your not going to get one. Im not in the mood to engage in battle with a facist right now.
She's a troll, Adam. An ugly one at that.
Speaking of "tard behaviour", to put it in your childish terms, have you read your posts Karra. You haven't made a point since you've been here, just attacked people and made false accusations.
You are looking for a fight. That makes you a troll.
uhh, good one.
Now you're accusing me of using childish terms and accusing you of being a liar. When does it stop I ask? When will you realize that not everyone out there believes your constant cyber-drivel and will not cave to your constant onslaught of same old same old.
Good lord man, give your head a shake.
Hear anything?
Regardless of the fights she picks and her fiestiness I still would like to know what she looks like. Hee Hee I love a good fight and make-up time.. Karra you single?
Again I tried to give my view point about how/if Europeans are aware of the differences with Canada & USA
Geographically most Europeans Nations slot Canada in America & I’ve met some who are well travelled know there are 3 countries in the continent. I’ve had discussions & on an average ppl. associate my English as American not British, S. African, or Australian or any other English speaking countries. It’s not that this area of the world doesn’t care about Canada … today in the last few years the political environment is whether Europe should adopt the Euro … should they become an EU nation … Peacekeeping in the Baltic Nations … closing the borders of the influx of asylum seekers. Even though there are pockets of Europe that are MORE aware of Canada then others … I’ll sight my visit to Rome when an elderly man & his son approached me … the son translated what his father wanted to convey. “When I saw your Canadian Flag many emotions ran through me, of a time that was very hard for me & my family in Italy … I wanted to thank your nation for the help of liberating Rome” this with tears rolling down his face ! Here I was at a war memorial to pay respect with a bouquet of Red & White & Canadian Flag. I pinched myself really hard that day so that I would never forget.
Whoever is a teacher through and through takes all things seriously only in relation to his students--even himself.
"knowledge for its own sake"--that is the last snare of morality: with that one becomes completely entangle in it one more.
The attraction of knowledge would be small if one did not have to overcome so much shame on the way.
One is dishonest to one's god: he is not allowed to sin.
The inclination to depreciate himself, to let himself be robbed, lied to, and taken advantage of, could be the modesty of a god among men.
Love of one is barbarism; for it is exercised at the expense of all others. The love of God, too.
"I have done that," says my memory. "I cannot have done that," says my pride, and remains inexorable. Eventually--memory yields.
One has watched life badly if one has not also seen the hand that considerately--kills.
Under peaceful conditions a warlike man sets upon himself.
Women learns to hate to the extent to which her charms--decrease.
Women themselves always still have in the background of all personal vanity an impersonal contempt--for "women."--
What? A great man? I always see only the actor of his own ideal.
I would like to add that I read the post by Karra wrong, and I take back any post to her, she is now ignored haha.
@NATOOKE: this was a great posting ... thx
Not only was it a good post, it was on topic.
It also brings up a pretty good point...Canada is known in pockets all over the world by people we have influenced. In the majority of cases that influence has been positive. We are known in Europe for our actions during WWII, our acceptance of immigrants, our willingness to keep trading with Eastern Bloc countries during the Cold War, and aid we've given...right up to today. That doesn't make all Europeans super-aware of us, but those that are aware of us tend to have a positive opinion.
The United States has done all the same things, minus the many terrible things they've done. Everything that was listed Americans have done, yet no one thanks them for it and focuses only on the negative. Oh well, that can be expected of people of this world. Everyone hates Americans you know.
