Everyone gets "bitch slapped" on here. Its just that some of us figure out which subjects are taboo and stick around. Just because you disagree with my point of view doesn't mean I'm an asshole (there may be legitimate reasons but that is not what was in play).
I stay away from subjects that are clearly taboo with posters who have been on here for a decade. You do the same thing when you're invited to dinner.
There is a clear-cut hierarchy and pecking order among the posters on here and there are asses to be kissed. There are a few heavy-duty trolls here that have become legit because of their longevity, apparently. You would pitch them off of your forum if they were just starting out today.

I would be very interested in what topics you are refraining from discussing because you perceive them as taboo? And who you think your host is that you don't want to offend? The only host I see is Trevor, and he's holding an open house.

I figured out long ago that it was a complete waste of my time having a discussion with someone who would never consider another point of view than their own. Better to tap out and leave them to their intellectual masturbation.
