Really? He's psychic? COOL! Gerry, read my mind.

That's easy.....it's a blank page.
Nope, guess again.

Tricks @ Sun May 13, 2007 8:43 pm

lily lily:
I think Gerry has a better understanding of what Yogi is "thinking" than you do.
I don't try to act like I know what Yogi is thinking because I don't.

$1:
Note the clever repetition of the word "idea". That was intended to be a clue as to who I was referring to.
Well considering you said he made something clear, then I didn't think you could be talking about Gerry, because that doesn't make a whole lot of logical sense.

Tricks @ Sun May 13, 2007 9:00 pm

lily lily:
Gerry made it very clear that he has some idea of what is inside Yogi's head.

Do you really need it spelled out further?
Yes please do. Do people who have similar experiences know how the other one feels or thinks? Judging by how both react, I don't think they are thinking alike, do you?

Tricks @ Sun May 13, 2007 9:06 pm

lily lily:
Have you been molested?

If not, you can't possibly relate to what either of them have gone through.
Have I any where in this thread attempted to?

Tricks @ Sun May 13, 2007 9:13 pm

lily lily:
Actually... yes. Every time you try to dismiss what Gerry is saying.
And how about Clog? Shep? Brenda? Clog is questioning Yogi. Shep is appalled at Gerry's response, as was Brenda. Am I your favourite Lily? Do I piss you off that much? I am dismissing Gerry because while he may have gone through the same things as yogi, that doesn't mean they will react the same way. So by saying get over it, he is being an asshole.

sigh.

Get over it.... all that means is to quit dwelling on it. Clinging to the hatred all these years isn't healthy.

He's emotionally obese. ;)

Yogi, does this affect your life in any way to this day? Does your hate of the people who did this to you affect your everyday life, or those around you?

Lily, I think if I were in Yogi's situation, I would want to hunt the bastard down and kill him. (Remember I said I think). I have hated people for a lot less for a long time.

Nice to see your parents have done such a bang up job of raising you.

They have done quite well thank you very much. Think of it this way for a second. I am 17 (as everyone knows). Never drank. Never done drugs. Did very well in high school. Getting probably my first two years of tuition paid for. Actually care what goes on in the world instead of worrying about where I am going to go party. I am willing to fight for this country, and to protect the people within it. So tell me, what is wrong with that Gerry?

What it proves, is the sorry state of our education system.

I've been refered to as 'fat head' and a lot worse. Who here hasn't. No offense taken Lilybefore for a variety of reasons nothing new to me

Thanks for asking Tricks.

No. 'It' doesn't affect my daily life. As a matter of FACT I am quite popular with-in my work and social strata because of my POSITIVE ATTITUDE! This is easy enough to prove because there are others on this board who are from the edmonton area. I would be happy to 'show them around'.

My anger with the catholic organization (and several times I have qualified exactly what I mean by 'catholic organization)& HATRED not only for the actions but also for the pedophiles ( they really should have their balls cut off and be left to suffer the agony and their 'protectors' should face a similar fate!) is not something that I think about all the time but neither do I EVER want to 'get over' the anger for the attitude taken by so many. To do so would mean that I condone such behavior by remaining silent.

EVERYONE has something in their history that makes them angry or sad whenever either they think about it or when someone else brings up the subject. And if they say they don't they are full of shit!
So I suppose we should all 'get over it' and we can all run around with 'smiley faces'!

No it proves your buddies with the BIG L didn't corrupt his mind like they did to you.

Don't listen to him Tricks, he's a person not to be admired or given the time of day.

I admire him, for the simple reason that he'll tell me I'm full of shit even though we're friends.

If you have friends like that you need new ones.

The fact you're still blaming an entire organization for the actions of SOME is proof that it does indeed affect your daily life.

The post you made that started this whole thing is full of hatred. How can that NOT affect you?

OK! We all agree that I am FULL of hate! Now would you please explain to me- and type slowly because I don't 'think' very fast!

WHY IS IT WRONG FOR ME TO HATE PEDOPILES AND THOSE WHO DENY THEIR CRIMES AND PROTECT THEM???????
