So you are saying that our of 46 Muslim Majority countries, 4 are on the list so that makes Islam a bad religion for giving out the death plenty.

Neither. Hell I support the Death Penalty, but from my limited knowledge, it seems that Muslim nations (along with China) and them out for really stupid reasons.

what about your opinions as a muslim living in a secular society? how are those who are openly homosexual, or outed, treated in Islamic societies, and do you agree with it?

I just fail as the good little catholic girl, any time I have to go in a church I'm scared shitless it's gonna fall down or some lightning bolt is going to light up my ass I don't think you should worry much. If God wanted you dead then you would already be and I don't think any religion says that you would be hit by a lightening bolt. I think most religions refer to a Judgment Day and thats when you will be judged for this life.

Well if they hadn't of done that I might of stayed in that religion, but damn I just have no time for that much guilt. The very last time i went to confession the priest pulled my ass right out of the coffessional sat my ass down in a pew. Went at me like the sky was going to open lightning hail down, like it was my personal fault about the garden of eden, kept me there for an hour doing hail mary's with a nun sitting with me. I got my ass out of there and never went back. God may be about forgiveness but the catholic church sure as hell isn't.
A man cannot forgive your sins, only God can, remember that. So, don't blame God for what the priest did, if the priest had done his research then he might have acted different.
I don't thats why i believe in my god just not the one the catholic church claims
Actually in Judaism, God can only forgive those sins you've committed against him. You have to ask forgiveness from those you've sinned against. If you are truly repentant then, they are obligated to forgive you as well. Failure to absolve the transgressor is in itself a sin.

I don't make the laws. If a societies laws are based on sharia law then whatever the sharia law says about homosexuality will be carried out. homosexuality is considered a major sin in Islam.
and since there is no seperation of church and state in islam, no questioning of a law is allowed, no matter how inhumane or unjust it seems. that's an inherent flaw of islam and islamic society...it's static, it doesn't evolve.

But see thats where I get confused, I don't see my sins as sins against god. I see my sins as sins against the doctrines of the catholic church. Which saying that was exactly when I ended up in said pew

There is a world of difference between what christ preached and what the catholic church teaches. things have been dropped and added on over the last two thousand years. Idolatry was wrong - Catholics pray to statues, celibacy of the clergy, the veneration of Mary.....the deification of jesus, the creation of the trinity. none of these have any connection to what christ taught.
