Okay I'll bite.

I'll start with the airlines and airports, where it's pretty much okay to just run through check points carrying knives and bottles of whatever you can fit in your carry-on bag. And should someone try and stop you, a simple wave of your hand and an explanation of, "I'm in a hurry" is usually good enough to get you where you need to go. Okay maybe it's not that bad, but still...

Canadian Immigration... Naw that's just to easy.

Did you know that anyone can own a gas station in Canada? What is a gas station? It's a really big bomb just waiting to be detonated. Someone brought that up one night, think about that one for a bit and it's pretty scary actually.

SprCForr SprCForr:
Give away any vulnerabilities? We leak int like a sieve. If we're targetted, they already know everything.

Where to start? Umm...how about the worlds largest shopping mall? Toronto transit? Vancouvers Skytrain?

I hope the British soon track down and nail the murderous scum.

Fairly tried and fairly hung.

Except for....how about Cali's gas supply?

Anyone can own a field to farm and most in Alberta have wellheads and pipelines under them. Just ask Wiebo.

Spyware.

Tman1 @ Fri Jul 08, 2005 1:36 am

Or...you can ignore my argumentive thoughts and say... No good will come from attacking Canada because...there is no point. The world will shed a couple of tears...less than the London bombings.. and say tuff, deal with it.

-Mario- -Mario-:
Interesting (scary) fact. Of the 6 nations on Bin Ladens list we are the only one's that haven't been hit yet.

Godz46 Godz46:
Sorry to burst your large protective bubble of denial folks, but Canada has been listed and mentioned by Al-Qaida as possible places of target. And before evreybody jumps on the "WE DID'NT INVADE IRAQ" well...I'll just leave you with this fact:

The Bali Bombings, which were aimed at Australia came BEFORE the Iraq War.

So.....yeah.

Sorry to burst your "Im a dumbass" method but I think Canadians know that. Im sure the Australians know that as well dip shit.

canucker @ Fri Jul 08, 2005 1:51 am

Of course we do. I think I would worry about it more if I lived in a large city, especially in the States, but we are well aware that the terrorists could hit anywhere.

Even horsefly BC Canucker?... Terrorists are concerned with more bang for the buck..... kinda cheesy way to say It. Canada is a great staging area for them.. easy to gain access to the US (and no Idon't mean through border crossing.... Longest un protected border in the world.... Attacking Canada makes no sense, economically etc..
Terrorists will attack large urban centers.. like they did Madrid, London NYC..... by taking out the towers on the short term effected us not only by the loss of life but economically as well.. that is what terrorist want to do .. the IRA was effective for years... but the British people have been through this for 50+ years.....

Unprotected, but just the thought of how Israel retaliates makes it a protected target M.H.O

yeah its really protected them from all those suicide bombers

ManifestDestiny @ Fri Jul 08, 2005 5:16 am

I think many of the posts on this site typify the Canadian logic towards terrorism...That it is not your problem....well keep think that way. I could not beleive some of the earlier posts how naive people are (grant it some were 16 year olds who think they are so worldy, yet they have not left Timmns!) LMAO.

I think if The ISLAMIC terrorist find it hard to attack the USA they will attack Canada.

Mustang1 @ Fri Jul 08, 2005 5:45 am

Despite what many (some?) may think, Canada is likely a potential target. Does that translate into actually attacking us? I don’t know – the point is that no one actually does until, unfortunately, after the first strike. It’s all speculation until it actually happens and if recent events are any indicator, prevention is difficult and avoidance is impossible.

ShepherdsDog @ Fri Jul 08, 2005 5:48 am

If, and it's a big if, Moslem Terrorists hit a Canadian target it would be something like the CN tower. Something symbolic, known around the world. The idea that Moslem terrorists would differentiate between Australians, Britons, Americans and Canadians is ludicrous. They lump us all together as Western Infidels and the fact that we all speak English targets us even more so. Abdul isn't going to stop and think, 'hmmmm what kind of accent is that, I wouldn't want to kill a Canadian', it's going to be 'Praise bre to Allah, I have an infidel in my sights.' BLAM, BANG, KABOOM etc.
